New Manufacturing Facility at Stoney Stanton Accelerates Intrastack & InteWall Delivery
Saint‑Gobain Off‑Site Solutions has reached an exciting new milestone with the rapid development of its manufacturing facility in Stoney Stanton, Leicestershire – now home to the next evolution of Intrastack and InteWall panelisation.
In a LinkedIn update, Andy Higson highlighted the ‘amazing progress made in recent weeks,’ recognising the work of Simon Barwise, Matthew (Arnie) Earp, and the wider operations team in accelerating the development of what he described as ‘“Facility 2.0” for Saint-Gobain’s Intrastack–InteWall activity.’
Production and Assembly Lines
The Intrastack assembly line is now fully operational, with panels being delivered to several active UK sites. This increased output supports the growing pipeline for Intrastack’s off‑site light steel framing solutions.
InteWall panel assembly came online recently, with the first deliveries leaving the Stoney Stanton facility for an ongoing project soon after. As an intelligent drylining solution, InteWall’s ongoing development in production marks another important milestone in strengthening Saint‑Gobain’s mixed‑MMC capabilities.
Work is also progressing on the site’s cutting, kitting, and sub‑assembly facilities to help drive greater efficiency, automation, and industrialisation across both solutions.
Building Momentum with the Stoney Stanton Team
Andy Higson noted the ‘enthusiasm and pride radiating’ across the workforce as the Stoney Stanton facility team continues to build momentum behind this next phase of development.
More to Come
With existing solutions scaling rapidly, evolving solutions gaining impetus, and new innovations preparing to enter the market, Stoney Stanton is set to play a central role in the Saint‑Gobain UK & Ireland construction revolution.
With more updates still to come, the Stoney Stanton facility is positioned to play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable construction solutions to the UK market.
More updates from the facility will be shared soon as Intrastack, InteWall, and the wider Off‑Site Solutions business continue their mission to modernise UK construction through industrialised, high‑performance building systems.
